Things land into place, when we let go...
Embracing a creative way is about doing just that. We identify our needs, and then... we let go... and... pay attention to what shows up!
I had a great example of exactly this, happen just today.
For sometime, I've been working on plans for doing some live trainings about creative solutioning. Simultaneously, I've been wearing my "video producer hat" planning some video production to enable me to share the trainings with a wider audience than I can reach in person.
So with all this planning... typically... I formulate the ideas for what needs to happen... and even though I'm not sure *how* it will all happen or work out, I identify the needs... and then, I let go.
Well today, a beautiful moment occurred.
I received a very random phone call from someone I've not talked with in YEARS... With just a short window of time to talk, we were each sharing about our lives, and just by shear chance, while I was sharing what I'm up to, I mentioned that I'm planning some workshops, AND, that eventually, I will be filming the trainings I'm creating to develop products that will allow a much wider reach for the material.
Well, it was THAT VERY COMMENT that opened the magic today!
We had only moments left to finish talking... and *just by chance* I threw in that tiny little comment that *eventually* I will do some filming of this work.
And with that... voila!
He immediately said, without even a hint of a prompt... "hey, well if you let me know when you want to do that, I can hook you up with all the right people to help you!"
What?! Whoa... I was shocked... It had never even occurred to me to even ask him, and HE is a GREAT resource for this kind of support. Wow. I was stunned. I sat there jaw-dropped for a few seconds and then quickly jumped to "Wow, thank you!! That would be AWESOME!" I had SO grappled with juggling all these pieces... not sure how many parts would come together... and here he was, totally out of the blue ready to provide for my needs, without me even asking... super easy!
So we proceeded to expand the idea... and this totally-out-of-the-blue phone call, became a big answer and a great solution for something I was wanting for long time! I was thrilled!
What was sort of fun in the end too, was that just moments earlier in our conversation, I was trying to describe the work I'm sharing... trying to describe what IS Embracing Creative... And when this little juncture unfolded in our conversation... He got it... as he said, "Well, I guess that's how it works then, eh?" ... And I said, "YES, that's exactly how it works!"

Creative Solutioning... the heart of Embracing Creative... is alive and well in my world... and I am THRILLED it just keeps showing up!
