If you've been around me even a little bit (online or off), you might have heard me talk about "found money." I LOVE to share when I find money! I'm like a kid in a candy shop... and honestly, it doesn't matter if it's just one penny, or a lot more, there's something SO fun about finding FREE money that totally lights up the little kid in me! I LOVE it... and, I have a lot of fun celebrating the moment when it occurs.
Well, a couple days ago, I had a great little moment that I want to share.
And why share this here? Well, you see, it's all about our magnetic nature. We ALL are magnetic... everything about us is magnetic. It's our job to be more aware of that and "feed" what we "want" to attract, not what we *don't* want. Trouble is, many times, we don't even realize what we are *feeding* with our thoughts, words and actions, and that's where we get a little goofed up in this whole "we are so magnetic" thing. That's why you'll find me talking about, and helping people with, "cleaning up your thoughts and your words" because what we SAY and THINK actually grows. Or, as I like to say "what we give energy to (like water to a plant) grows!" It's just the way it is.

So... the other night, I had this funny little moment that I was so amazed at its powerful nature AND the shear demonstration of this magnetic thing, that I decided I would share this story. So, here goes.
I recently discovered that McDonald's offers a teeny-eeny-bitty ice cream cone as their "kids" version. Its this itty bitty little ice cream BUT it's perfect when I want just a bite to quench a sweet tooth -- AND, it's great because it's SUPER cheap at just 25 cents, including tax! Well, I hadn't had one for awhile, so I pulled into Micky D's the other night to get a baby ice cream.
As I dug into my money bag looking for a quarter, I said to myself... "wow, I haven't found any money in a long time" as I realized that indeed, it had been quite awhile since I had found any money laying around on the ground. I'm grateful to say that, indeed, I very often find money on the ground... yet, I realized, it hadn't happened in awhile.
So, as I was digging in my bag at the car, I was surprised I wasn't finding a quarter, but eventually, I found enough small coins that and I trotted off to get my 25 cent ice cream.
When I came outside, instead of leaving, I wandered around the parking lot while eating my ice cream... and this is where it gets GREAT.
Mind you, I had *just* had the very innocent awareness run through my head while looking for coins, that I had not found any money for awhile. Now, having bought my ice cream, I was walking around the parking lot. At this point, it occurred to me that earlier that day, I had seen a quarter on the ground that I did NOT stop to pick-up. This stood out, because it's rare for me to pass on picking up found money! So, there I was, walking around the parking lot, wracking my brain for "where WAS it that I saw that quarter?" ... When... instants later, I suddenly found a quarter and a penny on the ground right in front of me! WOW, cool, I thought... now this was good for my next ice cream, next time... and THEN, moments later, again, I found AGAIN.... one quarter and one penny! WHOA!? That was cool... not only one time, but a second time within moments. Well that was pretty cool...
Then... while still finishing up my ice cream AND wracking my brain to remember where I had seen a quarter on the ground earlier that day... around the other side of the same building... yet AGAIN... I found one quarter, one penny, and this time, also one nickel! THREE TIMES!? Yippee!!
You have no idea, you'd think I won the lottery... because when I find money, I give a hoot and say out loud... "WhooHoo, found money!!" and I celebrate the goodness of being given to, even if it's just one penny!
SO... here I was... Just 15-20 minutes earlier having totally innocently realized, "wow, I haven't found any money in awhile"... and lo and behold... lickety-split, we fixed that right away!! Instantly, I find not just ONE time... but THREE TIMES... one quarter and one penny, plus a bonus nickel (for my next THREE splurges of late night ice cream!). Isn't that cool?
I found this very interesting... To me, it's just amazing how fast and furious the whole magnetic nature of things is sometimes. And, I just couldn't help but see the connection between me realizing, with pure innocence just 15 minutes earlier, that in fact, I had not found any coins in awhile... and THIS... fixing that right away! And more, as I dug for coins to buy my ice cream, my awareness was that I was getting low on coins because I hadn't found any in awhile. (I'm pretty sure all the coins I use, are found... pretty sweet! And, they were getting low!) So... I chuckle as I say this... it was as though God and everyone said... "oh, okay, well here, let's fix that!"
And... the fact IS... We ARE SO magnetic! I suppose I may have found those coins even if I had not moments earlier had the thought beforehand... but, actually, that's very likely NOT the case! Because, I can see right now as I share this story, that because I had the thought that I'd not found any money lately, it planted the IDEA to OPEN MY EYES and look around... and SO, I did! And when I did, there it was, all sitting almost right in front of me!
Wow... and there's even another lesson... open your eyes to look, and you might just find, it's RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU... but when you were not "looking" you did not "see" what you wanted and needed, next. Clarify WHAT you want and need next, and IT will materialize... that is, it will show up... it will stand out... and it may even have been sitting right in front of you, all along!
So there's my latest little story about "found money"...
Most of all... what I realize makes this SO magical is that, it is FUN! It is simple joyful fun! And with that, it is EASY. Playful and easy.
Attracting what we want and need next is EASY when we let it be FUN. THAT is perhaps the greatest lesson of all ~
Have FUN... and be clear with your thoughts and words for they ALL are magnetic! The greater the JOY in your words and your energy, the greater the MAGNET you'll be :) ~
So HAVE FUN... PLAY... and ENJOY the fruits that your JOY can bring!!
